As the name suggests, Blackheads are those small dirty black spots that start appearing around your nose if your skin is typically oily. You barely notice them until someone in front of you straightforwardly points them out.
Blackheads have become such a big problem today because of all the pollution and dust levels outside. There are so much dust and dirt sitting on our face, which makes our skin oily. In the end, these things fill the pores, and blackheads become more noticeable.
Blackheads are formed due to the oversecretion of sebum and natural oil on the surface of your skin which clogs the pores, and thus a blackhead appears. If not cleaned, the pores keep on filling up, and the blackheads become more prominent.
The oil oversecretion is white, but it turns black when it is oxidized and pokes out of the skin from small cracks; thus, they are called blackheads.
People who have oily skin go through the inconvenience of having blackheads collected on and around their noses. While it is pretty easy to treat blackheads through products, many people with oily skin also have sensitive skin, and a lot of products do not suit their skin type.
